A c c e p t a n c e o f T e r m s
The purpose of these terms and conditions is to set forth the basic matters regarding the conditions and procedures for using the Internet services (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") provided by Arjeong (hereinafter referred to as the "Site").
① These terms and conditions shall take effect upon being notified to users through the service screen or by other means.
② The Site may amend these terms and conditions, and the amended terms shall take effect upon notification or announcement in the same manner as in paragraph 1.
The terms used in these terms and conditions are defined as follows:
① Member: Refers to an individual or organization that has entered into a service use contract with the Site or has been assigned a user ID.
② Applicant: Refers to an individual or organization applying for membership.
③ ID (Identification): Refers to a combination of letters and numbers set by the member and approved by the Site for the purpose of member identification and service use.
④ Password: Refers to a combination of letters and numbers set by the member to confirm identity and protect confidentiality corresponding to the assigned ID.
⑤ Termination: Refers to the cancellation of the service use contract by the Site or the member.
① When the user clicks the consent button at the bottom of the terms, it is deemed that the user agrees to these terms and conditions.
② The service agreement is established when the Site approves the service use application after the applicant agrees to these terms and conditions.
① In order to use the Service, the applicant must fill out and submit the required user information in the membership application form provided by the Site.
② All user information entered in the membership form is considered to be true data. Users who do not enter real names or actual information will not receive legal protection and may be restricted from using the service.
① The Site shall approve the service use application except in cases falling under paragraphs 2 or 3.
② The Site may defer approval in the following cases until the reason for restriction is resolved.
a. When there is no capacity available in the service-related facilities
b. When there are technical difficulties
c. When deemed necessary by the Site
③ The Site may refuse approval in the following cases:
a. When applying under another person’s name (impersonation)
b. When the user provides false information in the application
c. When applying for the purpose of disturbing public order or morals
d. When failing to meet other application requirements prescribed by the Site
Members must update their information online if any of their registered details change, and the member shall bear all responsibility for any issues arising from failure to make such changes.
① The Site shall provide the following services to its members.
a. Sending newsletters regarding new services and domain information
b. Automatic input of personal information when registering additional domains
c. Various supplementary services for domain registration and management
② The Site shall not disclose, provide, or distribute any personal information obtained in connection with the service to third parties without the member’s consent, and shall not use it for commercial purposes other than service-related work. However, exceptions are as follows:
a. When requested by a national institution under applicable laws such as the Basic Telecommunications Act
b. When required for criminal investigation or requested by the Information and Communication Ethics Committee
c. When requested in accordance with relevant legal procedures
③ The Site shall continuously and stably provide services in accordance with these terms and conditions.
① Members shall not engage in any of the following acts while using the Service.
a. Fraudulent use of another member’s ID
b. Copying, modifying, publishing, or distributing information obtained from the Service for purposes other than personal use without prior approval from the Site
c. Infringing on copyrights or other rights of the Site or third parties
d. Distributing information, text, or images that violate public order or morals
e. Acts objectively determined to be related to criminal activity
f. Acts violating other relevant laws and regulations
② Members must comply with applicable laws, these terms and conditions, and any usage notices and precautions posted by the Site.
③ Members must comply with specific service restrictions posted in notices or separately announced by the Site.
① The member is responsible for managing their ID and password. The member shall bear full responsibility for all consequences resulting from negligent management or unauthorized use of their assigned ID and password.
② In the event of unauthorized use of their ID or other security violations, the member must immediately notify the Site.
① The Site may restrict or suspend part or all of the service in cases of war, disaster, national emergency, or any other force majeure events, or when telecommunication service providers under the Telecommunications Business Act suspend their services.
② When restricting or suspending the service under paragraph 1, the Site shall notify the members of the reason and duration without delay.
When a member wishes to change customer information such as address or password, they may do so through the member information modification service on the website.
Members may terminate the service use contract at any time by applying for termination through the service, phone, or online methods. The Site shall restrict the member’s use of the service from the date the termination request is received. When the Site intends to terminate a member for violating usage restrictions, it must notify the member at least seven (7) days in advance and provide an opportunity to explain.
① When the user violates the usage restrictions and fails to remedy the reason within the restriction period
② When requested by the Information and Communication Ethics Committee
③ When the user fails to respond without justifiable reason
④ When applying under another person’s name or submitting false information or documents
The Site may restrict re-registration of members whose contracts were terminated under these provisions for a certain period.
① The Site shall not be liable for any loss of expected profits by the member or any damages arising from the selection or use of service materials.
② The Site shall not be responsible for service interruptions or data damage caused by the member’s fault or a third party’s intentional act.
③ The Site shall not be responsible for the content of materials posted or transmitted by members.
④ In the case of domain names with trademark rights, any damages or liabilities arising therefrom shall be borne by the purchasing member, and the Site assumes no responsibility whatsoever.
Any dispute arising between the Site and the member in relation to the service shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Site’s head office.
(Effective Date) These terms and conditions shall take effect from November 2015.
